HECK Smokey Bacon Cheese Burger

Serves: 2

Cooking Time: 20-25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • HECK Smoked Bacon
  • 2 x Beef Burger Patties
  • 2 x Slices of Red Leicester Cheese
  • 2 x Brioche Burger Buns
  • Mayonnaise

  • Method:

  • Heat your grill to a medium-high heat.
  • Line a baking tray with foil then lay out the bacon.
  • Place the bacon under the grill, keep an eye on it as it will cook quickly. Turn after a few minutes of cooking on each side.
  • To cook the burger patties you can either add to the bacon tray and cook under the grill or you can fry them in a pan - cook until cooked all the way through.
  • Once the burgers and bacon are cooked, set to one side.
  • Slice the burger bun open and place under the grill to lightly toast. Keep a close eye!
  • Add the red leicester cheese slices to the cooked burger patties and place under the grill to melt the cheese - This should only take a minute or two.
  • Once all components are cooked, stack it up in the bun. Add mayonnaise to the bottom bun, add the cheesy burger, add the crispy bacon then top with the brioche bun top. Dig in!
