HECK! Joins University of York Students in Sustainability Project

HECK! Joins University of York Students in Sustainability Project

HECK! Founder, Debbie Keeble, was invited by the University of York to talk to students about sustainable entrepreneurship and how HECK! are doing their bit for the planet.

Debbie was asked by the Department of Environment and Geography at University of York to sit on a panel for the students, supporting them in creating ‘Zero Waste(d) Sustainability Shopping Guides’ as part of their studies about sustainable entrepreneurial practices.

The students presented their guides to Debbie and Becky, who is part of HECK!’s marketing team, so they could evaluate the guides based on clarity, design content, production information and guides, and potential entrepreneurial partnerships pitched by each student group. The students were also invited to go on a factory tour of HECK! to learn more about our facilities and sustainability initiatives – which hopefully gave them some food for thought!
