This quick and easy blast from the past pie does not disappoint. It's super easy, quick and great for the whole family!
Serves 4-6
Ingredients:
· 8 Heck 97% Sausages, halved
· 900g frozen or ready-made, mashed potato
· 2 onions, thinly sliced
· 2 tsp garlic paste
· 2 tins baked beans
· ½ tin of chopped tomatoes
· 2 tsp smoked paprika
· 2tbs BBQ sauce
· 70g grated cheddar cheese
· 400g frozen peas
· 25g chives
· 2 tbsp oil
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
2. To a large frying pan on medium heat, add oil and fry sliced onion until softening.
3. Add your sausages to the centre on the pan and brown off all sides.
4. Heat your mash through and add ¾ of your chopped chives.
5. Once nicely browned, add your beans and tinned tomato then stir through.
6. Add your bbq sauce, paprika and garlic.
7. Poor mixture into an oven proof dish, top with your mashed potato and spread along with a fork.
8. Top with cheese and leftover chives, pop in the oven for 20 minutes until nicely golden brown.
9. Serve with your peas and enjoy!!
