Create a well-deserved Sunday morning treat! Sizzling sausages served with a fried egg and a bacon potato hash.
Ingredients:
1 pack of Heck 97% Sausages
3 medium sized potatoes, skin on, cut into cubes
1-2 tbsp olive oil
1 pack of smoked bacon lardons
2 tbsp maple syrup (more depending on your sweet tooth!)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1-2 tsp of paprika
3-4 eggs, fried
Parsley, roughly chopped, to garnish
Method:
- Wash the potatoes and cut them into small cubes. Heat a frying pan up with the oil and fry the potatoes until bronzed. Add the salt and pepper and paprika, giving the potatoes a good mix so they’re evenly coated.
- In another pan heat a little more oil and fry the sausages until cooked through. Add the bacon to the potatoes and fry off. When the bacon is cooked, pour the maple syrup over the potatoes and mix. Divide the potatoes between 3-4 plates, then crack the eggs into the empty potato pan and fry. Add the sausages to the potato hash, and then the fried eggs on top of each plate.
- Sprinkle the parsley and serve!
