Prep time: 10mins - Cook time: 10mins - Makes :16 Pinwheels
Time to get creative in the kitchen! Transform your everyday sandwich into these cute pinwheel snails that your kids will love making and eating. 1 bread slice makes 4 snails and any leftover mince can be kept in the fridge and used for another meal!
Ingredients:
- 1 Pack Simply Chicken Mince
- 1 Small Can Sweetcorn
- 6 Tbsp Light Mayo
- Lettuce
- 4 Slices Soft White Bread
- Cherry Tomatoes – for the snail heads
- Cocktail Sticks - sharp ends removed
Steps:
- Pan-fry the mince on medium heat for 8-10 minutes
- Whilst the mince cooks, make the snail heads by attaching 2 cocktails sticks with a sweetcorn on the end to each tomato
- Cut the crust off the bread and use a rolling pin to roll it out thin
- In a bowl mix the cooked mince, sweetcorn and mayo and spread equally across the rolled-out bread slices. Then Roll the bread up tightly to make a spiral effect. (for best results roll the bread in cling film and chill for 20 minutes)
- Slice each roll into 4 pieces and attach the snail heads to the slices using a cocktail stick
ENJOY!!
