Looking for a quick dinner or tea for the kids or even want to get them involved in the process, follow this simple recipe to create some Spooktacular quesadillas in the shape of a ghost. Just don’t forget to save some room for trick or treat sweeties!
Ingredients
- ½ Pack Chicken Italia Mince
- 1 Onion – finely diced
- 1 Red Pepper – finely diced
- 1 Tbsp Tomato Puree
- 2 Slices Cheese – we used Gouda
- 4 Tortillas
Method
- Pan-fry the mince on medium heat for 10 minutes
- Meanwhile, dice the onion and pepper, then add to the pan to fry with the mince
- Mix in the tomato puree
- Cut out the shape of a ghost in the tortillas and sandwich a slice of cheese, the mince, onion and peppers between two ghost shaped tortillas. Place in the pan (with no oil) and press down lightly, then cook for 3 minutes until underside is golden brown. Flip and leave for another 3 minutes
- Use Sour crème to draw on the eyes of the ghost
