Ingredients:
50g Self Raising Flour
1tsp Chicken Seasoning
1 Burger Bun
1 tbsp of Oil
Handful of Lettuce
Mayo
Chilli Jam/Sweet Chilli Sauce
Method:
- Mix the flour and chicken seasoning in a bowl. Once evenly mixed, coat the entire burger in the in the mixture.
- In a frying pan, heat the oil over a medium/high heat before adding the coated burger to the pan. Fry for approx. 12 minutes (6 minutes on each side) until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the burger from the heat and place on a wired rack with some kitchen roll underneath. Allow the excess oil to drip off the burger.
- It’s time to assemble your burger. Lay down the base of the burger bun. Now add the lettuce and however much mayo you desire. Place the burger on the top, followed by some chilli jam or sweet chilli sauce. Complete with the burger bun top and serve up.
