We’re starting our new year’s resolutions right away! We’re so excited about partnering up for Walks With Julia Bradbury on ITV from 6 January. Jack’s walk hits TV!
We’ve agreed a partnership with TV Presenter, Julia Bradbury, in 2021 inspired by the epic charity walk that Jack undertook during lockdown. Julia’s new programme will be shown on ITV and explores the wonderful Cornwall and Devon countryside, which was the final destination for Jack’s 450 mile walk for SameYou.
Jack and his HECK colleagues star in the ad breaks of the show. The team also hosted a visit by Julia to HECK! HQ to show her how they embrace the outdoors in their everyday way of working.
HECK’s Jamie Keeble said of Jack's walk, “Jack undertook an epic 476 mile walk from Kirklington to Cornwall in Lockdown and raised over £5000 for a charity close to his heart, SameYou. We very much embrace the outdoors at HECK, surrounded by stunning countryside and we go for a walk with our dogs on our secret railway line walk each day. Our involvement with the programme is literally inspired by our own walking hero’s story! We asked Julia Bradbury to come to the visit our family and friends at HECK! to show her what we’re made of, which was great fun.”
This brand new series by Julia explores Cornwall and Devon. From the epic wilderness of Dartmoor to the soaring cliffs of Land’s End, Cornwall and Devon Walks with Julia Bradbury takes us to parts of the South West that can only be explored on foot.
Julia said of Jack’s own journey, “I came across Jack when he started his walk and we chatted during his trek about his highs and lows. It was great to visit the team and see a company really putting the outdoors and nature at the heart of their company.
Nature and green spaces are more important to us than ever before. In this series I feel that connection strongly and I hope it inspires people to head out and experience Vitamin N (nature) for themselves, in the best possible way – on foot. I encountered some truly inspirational people in Cornwall and Devon who kindly shared their passion and knowledge of the outdoors. If this doesn’t nudge people to explore the nature available to them, I’ll eat my sustainably sourced biodegradable straw hat.”
The series will broadcast on ITV 1, 7.30pm for 8 weeks.
