Bude beach is always a beautiful sight, but none more so than for HECK’s Jack on Friday as he reached his final goal, ending his epic walk from Kirklington in Yorkshire to the Cornish beach.
He’s walked 476 miles, it’s taken him 29 days raising over £5,800 for SameYou, and now the journey is over. Jack undertook a walk from Kirklington to Bude as a money-raising and awareness-raising initiative for the charity SameYou, and so the team at HECK thought they would arrange a surprise for him as he finally reached his goal.
After 27 days of walking mostly by himself, Ruby and Becky from HECK joined him on the final two days of his walk to keep him company.
It’s been an incredible journey, and Jack is now safely back in Yorkshire looking forward to a well-earned sit down and plenty of mince pies!
