Cooking Tips | Pork Sausages

PAN FRY OVEN BAKE GRILL BBQ

Pan Frying Pork Sausages

  1. Get the Pan Ready: Add 1 tsp of sunflower oil to a hot pan and preheat for about 30-60 seconds.
  2. Start Cooking: Place the sausages in the pan—they should start sizzling right away! The sizzle may soften as the pan cools slightly, but it’ll pick up again in about 15-20 seconds.
  3. Turn Down & Flip: Once the sizzle is back, reduce to medium heat. Turn the sausages regularly to ensure even cooking on all sides.
  4. Perfectly Cooked: After 14 minutes of cooking on medium heat with regular turning, your sausages will be golden and deliciously fried!

Oven Baking (Fan Assisted)

  1. Preheat: Set your oven to 180°C.
  2. Get Ready to Bake: Lay out the sausages on a foil-lined baking sheet and place them on the middle shelf.
  3. Bake & Flip: Bake for 14 minutes, then turn the sausages to brown the other side. Continue baking for another 11 minutes.
  4. Ready to Serve: After 25 minutes, your sausages should be beautifully golden and ready to enjoy!

Health Grill (George Foreman)

  1. Preheat: Heat your George Foreman grill until the green light comes on (no oil needed).
  2. Cook & Flip: Place sausages on the grill, close the lid, and cook for 6 minutes. Flip them, then cook for another 6 minutes.
  3. Ready to Serve: After 12 minutes, your sausages will be golden and perfectly grilled!

Charcoal BBQ

  1. Build the Fire: Crumple some newspaper in the BBQ pit, build a kindling “wigwam” around it, and light the paper. Add charcoal on top and let it burn until you see a glowing orange bed of coals. Brush your grill with oil.
  2. BBQ Time: Place the sausages on the grill. If you have a lid, close it to hold the heat. Cook for 8 minutes, then flip.
  3. Finish Cooking: Keep turning as needed to brown all sides evenly. After about 20 minutes, your sausages will be smoky, juicy, and ready to enjoy!
